The term “Mass Communication” is used to describe the study of various means of communication by which individuals as well as entities relay information to large percentage of the population through mass media. Mass communication Course is actually an area of study that is institutionalized in several names such as communication studies, communication arts, speech communication, communication science, media studies, media ecology or mass communication at several universities of many countries like India. It deals with the process of communication that encompasses a broad range of contexts ranging from journals, newspapers, magazines, radio or television broadcasting to face to face conversation. It is a discipline about the way information interpreted by masses and how do they take social, political, cultural and economic view in their context.
